Terms and Conditions for Flight Review and Training – Drone Flight School

 

1. Overview

By enrolling in the drone flight review and training program (the “Program”) provided by MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH, participants (“You” or “Student”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure safety, compliance with aviation regulations, and a clear understanding of responsibilities between both parties.

2. Program Scope

The Program includes:

  • In-person ground school and training for drone operations;
  • Preparation for Transport Canada’s Basic and Advanced RPAS certification (online exams not included);
  • In-person Flight Review (as required for Advanced Certification).

Students are responsible for registering for and passing the Transport Canada Basic and/or Advanced online exams independently. MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH does not facilitate or process government certification payments or test bookings.

3. Eligibility

To participate in the Flight Review, students must:

  • Be at least 16 years old;
  • Have successfully completed the Advanced RPAS online exam (proof required before scheduling a flight review);
  • Possess valid government-issued photo ID;
  • Provide a compliant drone and safety equipment, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Training and Review Sessions

Training and Flight Reviews are conducted on-site. Students are expected to:

  • Follow instructor and reviewer instructions at all times;
  • Adhere to all safety protocols;
  • Be punctual and prepared for all scheduled sessions.

Late arrivals or unpreparedness may result in rescheduling at the student’s expense.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

All fees paid for training and flight reviews are non-refundable, except under the following limited circumstances:

  • Cancellation by MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH due to weather or unforeseen operational issues (full rescheduling or refund offered);
  • Instructor/reviewer unavailability with no suitable alternative date (full refund offered).

No refunds will be provided for:

  • No-shows;
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled review;
  • Failure to pass the review or exam;
  • Student-initiated withdrawals after training has started.

6. Liability Waiver

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are operating drones at your own risk during any training, practice, or review sessions;
  • MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH, its instructors, contractors, or affiliates will not be held liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss of any kind arising from your participation in the Program;
  • You assume full responsibility for the condition, airworthiness, and legal compliance of any drone you provide or operate during training or the flight review;
  • You are responsible for ensuring you meet all Transport Canada requirements, regardless of instruction provided.

7. No Guarantee of Certification

Participation in this Program does not guarantee:

  • A passing result on the Transport Canada Basic or Advanced RPAS exam;
  • A successful outcome on the Flight Review;
  • The issuance of a drone pilot certificate.

MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH’s role is to provide instruction, preparation, and evaluation in line with best practices and regulatory standards.

8. Code of Conduct

MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH reserves the right to suspend or expel any student for unsafe behavior, harassment, substance use, or any action that endangers others or violates our code of ethics. No refunds will be given in such cases.

9. Recording and Documentation

MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH may record training or review sessions (via video or written notes) for compliance, safety, or quality assurance. These records will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. Amendments

MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Province/Territory], and any legal disputes will be resolved within that jurisdiction.

12. Agreement

By enrolling in the Program, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions;
  • You release MOSTAVIO-SKYTECH from any liability associated with your training, review, or drone operation;
  • You acknowledge that this agreement is binding and enforceable.
